Building this set to showcase the seemingly limitless combination of toning palettes seen on toned copper coins in mint state. Many of these coins display a near-complete color spectrum.
Not aiming for highest points on this set, but rather, to find the best examples of remarkable eye appeal. The grade, for the most part, is irrelevant, and all examples in this set will be in mint state.
My ultimate goal would be to have all dates certified with an NGC star designation. However, these star-designated Indian Head cents rarely see the market and can be incredibly difficult to source. For this reason, star-designated examples will take precedence, but similarly toned examples (that I believe could potentially obtain a star designation) will be added to help fill the blanks.阅读全文
