The "Modern Commemorative" era of U.S. dollars and halves started in 1982. There are a couple of years where the half dollar coins were struck in 90.0% silver, but most modern issues are clad. All U.S. Commemorative Dollars were struck in 90.0% silver until 2019, when the Mint started striking MS and Proof examples in 99.9% silver. All $5 and $10 coins contained a 90% gold composition, except for the year 2000 release of the Library of Congress $10 bi-metallic (gold and platinum) coin.阅读全文
